HUMANITARIAN AID FOR UKRAINE

Last year, Mission to Ukraine distributed well over 120 tons of such humanitarian aid to those in need.

WHY IT MATTERS

James 2:15-17 says, “Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Mission to Ukraine takes these words seriously. We have been entrusted by God to care for children with disabilities. To care for women and their children in distress. Not merely with words – but with actions and in truth!

Because of your generous support, Mission to Ukraine has been able to provide essential items to those we serve. Clothing. Diapers. Formula. Medicine. Firewood. Transportation. Food. Just about everything you and I need and can afford, our friends and clients in Ukraine need as well … yet don’t have the resources to provide for themselves.

Zhytomyr, the area where we work, has received nearly 70,000 refugees from the eastern part of Ukraine due to the ongoing war with Russia; many of whom have shown up with nothing but a grocery bag of their belongings in tow. In addition to the clients we serve on a regular basis, we’ve done all we can to help these precious folks as well.

During 2022, Mission to Ukraine distributed well over 120 tons of such humanitarian aid to those in need. But we’ve only been able to do so because of you.

We expect to continue helping as much as we possibly can while at the same time remaining focused on the call God has given us to assist children with disabilities and the women and babies we have been serving for these past 26 years. Why would we do anything less?
