“Exciting Updates”

Dear Friends,

I love my children.  My wife and I were blessed 32 years ago with a daughter – and then just 2 years later with a son.  We’ve always wanted them to know they are loved, to encourage them, to introduce them to Jesus – and to see them mature.  If you have children (and grandchildren as we do), I’m sure you have the same desire!

Why?  Because you love them !!!

The Board of Directors and staff of Mission to Ukraine has that same desire for those we serve:

Children with disabilities – and their families.

Moms facing crisis pregnancies – and their babies.

They’re not “clients.”  They’re not “projects.”  They’re not “statistics.”  They’re truly family to us.  And God has seen fit to bless MTU with the honor of serving literally thousands of these children and moms since 1997.  However, we’ve run into a bit of a problem.

But it’s a problem you can help solve.

Our current building is simply too small to safely accommodate the number of people coming to us for help.  We’ve had to meet with folks in crowded and less than ideal conditions.  We’ve had to turn people away.  And the waiting list for those who need our services continues to grow.

A little over 4 years ago we began looking into exactly what we should do.  We prayed.  We investigated.  We prayed some more.  And we eventually came up with a plan to follow what we believe is God’s leading for Mission to Ukraine.  A plan to more adequately minister to those whom we serve – as well as expand that outreach not only in Zhytomyr, but throughout the entire country via training and resourcing.

In order to do this we’ll need a new building.  Actual bricks and mortar.  Not for the sake of a building – but for the sake of the children with disabilities and the moms who are facing crisis pregnancies.  Because we love them.  Because Jesus loves them.

And because I believe you love them as well.

What we need to do now is translate that love into action.  Scripture says we are to love – “not just with word or tongue – but also with actions and in truth.” (1 John 3:18).  That literally means we need to reach into our pockets and demonstrate that love with the resources God has placed in our lives.  Quite simply, that means money.  By God’s grace, we have already received nearly 2/3 of the cost for building.   And by year end we expect to be 2/3 finished with the actual building process.  Lots of site work.  Lots of concrete.  Lots of folks doing lots of work.

Yet we’re still in need of just over $1,000,000 to see this vision become reality.

I’m asking you to prayerfully consider a sacrificial gift to help us reach the finish line.  Please know that your gift will truly make an eternal impact for years to come.

There are several ways you can give:

*Your generous check to MTU at Box 1214 – Noblesville, IN 46062

*An online gift via credit card at www.missiontoukraine.org/donate

*A tax-advantageous transfer of appreciated securities.  Please contact me at

Thank you,

P.S.  I’ll be providing additional updates in the near future.  But in the meantime, please reach out to me if you have any specific questions.  I’d love to hear from you!  And if you’ve already given or made a pledge to give – thank you!   You’ve gotten us 2/3 of the way there in such a short time.  Praise God !!!
