Russian Invasion of Ukraine – Impact on Zhitomir

Morning update (while I have internet). The Lord gave us another peaceful night in Zhitomir but the morning has been alarming. We’ve already had 2 attacks on Zhitomir military airport, the sirens worked twice commanding people to hide in bomb shelters. I am hearing lots of military planes flying right now,

We are under attack

Thank you for praying for Kiev, it withstood last night but there were fierce fights and bombings. Today and tomorrow are most critical days – please please have 24-hour prayer for the Lord to fight for us and protect our land, our freedom. Russia is attacking from everywhere and our men are displaying unheard of heroism, but we are way outnumbered. Most men from most families have volunteered to go fight. Please pray for the Lord to be their shield!

We were able to get together to pray this morning with most of the staff. Our initial shock is now replaced with anger – and a desire to do something. It is dangerous to leave our homes at this point, so we are praying for God to lead us.

Pray hard for those to whom we minister. Pray hard for our staff and volunteers. Pray hard for Ukraine!
