15-year-old Valeria is pregnant and needs help from Mission to Ukraine.

Sponsor a Mom: Valeria’s Story

Valeria’s only 15 years old. Just finished the 9th grade. Andrii is 17 and doesn’t have a job. Not ready to become parents by any stretch of the imagination. On top of all that, there’s a war going on in Ukraine. They’re scared, of course. Abortion seems the only way out.

One morning Valeria was having breakfast while sitting next to her 8-month-old sister. She saw her small fingers, her beautiful eyes… and started thinking about what her baby might look like.

Just then something “clicked.”

“There’s a real life inside of me,”

she thought. She made the decision that she was going to continue her pregnancy – no matter how difficult it might be. Fortunately, Andrii supported her decision and has made the commitment to do whatever he can to help out.

Valeria and Adrii’s baby should be making his or her appearance any day now. But they’re going to need help – a lot of help.

Mission to Ukraine is here for them. We will be supporting Valeria, Andrii, and their baby during the next 18 months with diapers, baby food, humanitarian aid, as well spiritual support. Would you show your commitment to life by helping us help them?
