YOUR SUPPORT SAVES LIVES

Friends, for the first time in MTU’s 22 year history, we witnessed a record 40 babies saved from abortion in just one month.  And, since the beginning of the quarantine just 3 months ago, 105 women have chosen life.  Glory to our God! 

 

Here’s just one story … a story of twins being rescued.

 

 Adele* had 3 young children. She lived with her parents. Her husband left her and refused to pay child support.  Adele’s parents are retired and not in a position to help out financially, but are able to help with babysitting. In order to provide for her family, Adele found a job as a janitor and was very happy about it.  There she met a man named Damon*, and fell in love immediately. Although Damon was 8 years younger, he gave a lot of attention to Adele, helped her, and brought gifts to her children. Adele thought she met her “new love.” She dreamed of marrying Damon and wanted to prepare a surprise for her beloved – to give birth to his first child.

When Adele thought that she might be pregnant, she was both happy and scared. She was happy because her dreams of a big and happy family started to come true. She was scared because Damon started coming late for their dates and didn’t return her calls. Adele even arranged a special date to break out the news, show ultrasound pictures of their children (yes, she was pregnant with twins!)  He showed up, comforted Adele that everything would be OK. That was the last time she saw him. 

 

Damon later informed Adele on the phone that he “didn’t need her nor her children.”  He moved out of his apartment and changed his phone number. It turns out she didn’t know his last name, his new address, nor any of his friends.  She said that love “blinded her,” and only now she realized what happened.

 

Adele couldn’t work due to health issues and was afraid to lose her job. Her mother replaced her at work. Adele decided to have an abortion. As she looked for a place that could perform abortion on quarantine, her friends recommended she talk to Mission to Ukraine.  During the conversation, Adele allowed her counselor to pray for her and after that she became much calmer. Later she said that despite all the circumstances in life, she would love and protect her children.  She decided AGAINST abortion.  She CHOSE LIFE!
